Spetzofai of Pelion

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of country sausages
  • ½ kg green peppers
  • 4 ripe tomatoes
  • 2 cups of olive oil
  • 1-2 hot peppers
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped.

Execution

Wash the peppers, remove the stems and seeds and dry them.
Place the pot on the fire with half of the olive oil and fry them. Add the garlic, chopped tomatoes, chopped peppers, salt and pepper. In another pan, fry the sliced sausages with the remaining oil and add them to the peppers. Cook over low heat for about 10 minutes.
The Spenjofai is ready when it is still with its sauce.
